Cumali Ozan, alongside his "Native American" friend Talip Şimşek, lives like a cowboy and travels with his horse in the Karagüveç village, prompting surprise among those who see him.
Ozan has been pretending to speak like a cowboy and addresses people with American names. He said that he likes the sound of the horses because he feels as if he's in Chicago.
"My close friend Talip has been accompanying me. Those who first saw us were surprised, but they are used to it now," Ozan told state-run Anadolu Agency.
Saying that he wakes up early in the morning, gets on his horse, and dresses like a cowboy, Ozan noted that many people address him as "cowboy" instead of his name. "When I enter a shop, people say, 'Welcome cowboy.' I say, 'Mr. Smith, do you have such and such?'" Ozan said.
