Employees of an AKP-run municipality in the northern province of Samsun have been photographed dumping and burying trash in a pasture area despite the presence of a trash storage facility in the area.
Employees of a district municipality run by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) have been caught dumping trash in a pasture land and later burying the trash with construction machinery.
The municipality of northern Samsun's 19 Mayıs municipality carried out the illegal disposal despite the presence of a municipal solid waste storage facility nearby.
The incident came out to light when locals filmed the municipality's illegal practice completely.
They later reported the municipality to the Presidential Communications Center (CİMER).
