2,5 tons of anchovy eaten at festival in Black Sea province of Rize

Some 2,5 tons of anchovy were eaten at a festival in Rize in the Black Sea region. The fish took three days to clean, 75 people to cook and a 100-meter grill. An anchovy eating contest and a contest for anchovy dishes were organized.

The fish was cooked by 75 people on a 100-meter grill and served to the thousands of visitors by 25 people.
