3 million liras worth of furniture to be purchased for ministry venue
The Turkish Foreign Ministry on June 3 signed an agreement with a company to purchase about 3 million liras worth of furniture for Istanbul's historic Müşir Fuat Paşa Mansion which hosts governmental meetings.

Some 111 pieces of furniture will be purchased for a historic Istanbul mansion that hosts the Turkish Foreign Ministry's occasional meetings, daily Birgün reported on June 15, citing the Public Procurement Bulletin.
The Foreign Ministry on March 22 held a tender for the supply of furniture for Müşir Fuat Paşa Mansion located in the Sarıyer district.
Erdem Mobilya Industry and Trade Company won the tender with a 2.9 billion Turkish Liras bid (approximately $340,000), and an agreement was signed with the company on June 3.
In 2013, a fire had broken out in the mansion, during which its roof was seriously damaged.
The mansion, built in the second half of the 19th century, is conjointly used by the Foreign Ministry's Istanbul representative and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
