61 pct of health workers in Diyarbakır have considered quitting during pandemic, survey reveals

Some 61.1 of health workers in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakır have said that they have considered quitting their job amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a survey conducted by SosyoPolitik Field Research Center revealed, according to a report of Artı Gerçek on Sept. 4.

An overwhelming 92.6 percent of participants said that they've experienced physical and emotional strain during the pandemic, while 81.3 percent said that pandemic management has been unsuccessful in Turkey.

Some 85.7 percent of the 203 participants have said that precautions taken to protect health workers have not been sufficient, while 86.2 percent said that the measures taken against the pandemic in general were insufficient.

A drastic 98 percent of the participants said that they didn't think official COVID-19 data were accurate.
