Cameraman says fired from pro-gov’t TV channel for not supporting Erdoğan
A cameraman working for the pro-government A Haber TV channel has announced that he was fired three days after saying he would not support Erdoğan in the presidential elections.

Cameraman Nihat Fındıklı has announced that he was fired from the pro-government TV channel A Haber for saying he would not vote for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the May 14 elections.
Fındıklı, working for A Haber since September 2020, tweeted on April 3: “Hello everyone. I have been fired from A Haber for being an opponent. I have said that I would not support Erdoğan in the (presidential) elections and was fired in three days. My vote is for the honest man Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu. If I need to pay a price, I would. I would never go back on my decision.”
The cameraman’s wife Zerrin Fındıklı commented on the tweet, saying the channel’s move was purely political and that her husband had “done his job deservedly during the time he worked.”
There are four politicians running in Turkey's 2023 presidential elections: ruling People’s Alliance candidate Erdoğan, opposition Nation Alliance’s candidate Kemal Kılıçdaorğlu, Homeland Party leader Muharrem İnce and far-right ATA Alliance’s candidate Sinan Oğan.
