Erdoğan leads in presidential race, outperforms expectations

As almost all of the ballot boxes have been counted in the presidential race, Erdoğan has received about 49.5% of the votes and Kılıçdaroğlu 44.89%.

Turkey has voted in the parliamentary and presidential elections. Vote counting started after the polls were closed at 5 p.m. local time on May 14. With almost all of the ballot boxes being counted, results have become clear. 

Here are the results from the presidential race. The figures next to the candidates show the vote share and number of votes they received in order.
