Famous Turkish actors deliver coronavirus public service announcements
Turkey's Health Ministry has produced public service announcements (PSAs) that urge hand-washing, social distancing and other best practices to combat the deadly coronavirus. The messages were delivered by two famous actors Timuçin Esen and Taner Ölmez.

Turkey's Health Ministry has prepared two public service announcements regarding how citizens should protect themselves against the novel coronavirus.
The announcements feature two popular names on Turkish TV, actors Timuçin Esen and Taner Ölmez, to send the necessary message to the community.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared the public announcements on his Twitter, asking his followers to retweet the 14 advises read out by the two actors.
"Timuçin Esen is also saying what we are saying. The 14-day [self-quarantine] rule for those coming from abroad. Retweet this, and prevent the spread of coronavirus," Koca says in his tweet.
"Taner Ölmez is also saying what we are saying. 14 rules to protect oneself from the risk of coronavirus. Retweet this, and prevent the spread of coronavirus," Koca says in a second tweet.
Esen and Ölmez advise citizens not to travel abroad and instead postpone their travels. But if their travel is compulsory, they urge them to self-isolate themselves at home for a period of 14 days.
They give a nationwide guideline consisting of 14 points on how to protect oneself against the virus. They advise citizens to pay attention to hygiene, to avoid close contact with others, to have a regular sleeping pattern and to keep a healthy diet.
"Do not forget. Coronavirus is not stronger than the precautions you will take," the actors say in their message -- a phrase which has been previously used many times by Minister Koca.
Esen is currently playing the leading role in the TV series “Hekimoğlu,” the remake of the successful U.S. show House, and portrays Dr. Gregory House, who is an incredibility talented doctor with a physical disability.
Ölmez, on the other hand, is playing the leading role in the TV series “Miracle Doctor” and portrays a doctor named Ali Vefa who has savant syndrome. “Miracle Doctor” is a remake of the South Korean original TV series “The Good Doctor.”
