Greece to reopen land borders with Turkey on July 1
Greek government spokesman Stelios Petsas has said that Greece will reopen seven of its 14 border crossings in the north on July 1 as part of ongoing efforts to welcome back tourists. Two of these border crossings are with Turkey.

Greece will reopen seven of its 14 border crossings in the north as of July 1, in an attempt to attract international tourists as the coronavirus recedes.
“On Wednesday, July 1, we are taking the final step to return to normalcy,” Greek government spokesperson Stelios Petsas was quoted as saying by Greek media on June 29 during a press meeting.
The border crossings of Kastanies (called Pazarkule on the Turkish side) and Kipi (called İpsala on the Turkish side) will be among the border crossings that will be opened.
In addition to this move, all airports in Greece are set to open to international flights as of July 1, Petsas said.
Starting on the same day, yachts and other vessels from abroad will be also allowed to dock at Greek ports.
