Main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Istanbul Mayor and vice presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu on May 10 held an election rally in the northern Rize province.
Before İmamoğlu addressed citizens, the rally turned into a techno concert.
The man in charge of preparing the stage for İmamoğlu chanted “Rights, law, justice” while rousing the audience.
The video showing the moments has gone viral on social media. İmamoğlu also shared the video on his Twitter account.
On the same day, İmamoğlu danced "horon" during a rally in the northern Trabzon province, which is a folk dance of the black sea coastal region of Turkey.
İmamoğlu has held scores of rallies during this election campaign process, sometimes taking the stage in three-four different provinces or districts on the same day.
Turkey will hold parliamentary and presidential elections on May 14 in the same year as the centennial of the foundation of the republic.
