Ostrich running on Turkish highway causes traffic chaos

On Feb. 12, a runaway ostrich caused chaos on the Diyarbakır-Batman highway after escaping from a farm in eastern Diyarbakır province.
The bird zigzagged across the road, startling drivers and narrowly avoiding an accident when one motorist slammed on the brakes, according to Demirören News Agency (DHA).
The owner pursued the ostrich by car, while another driver captured the bizarre chase on camera.
The ostrich eventually disappeared from sight.
