Pharmacies in Istanbul to distribute masks free of charge
Istanbul Chamber of Pharmacists said that a deal was reached between the Health Ministry and Turkish Pharmacists' Association on distributing masks from pharmacies. According to the chamber's statement, pharmacies in Istanbul will distribute masks free of charge to people aged between 20 and 65.

Pharmacies in Istanbul will distribute masks free of charge to people aged between 20 and 65 as part of the measures taken against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Istanbul Chamber of Pharmacists said on April 9.
According to the chamber, a deal was reached between the Health Ministry and Turkish Pharmacists' Association on distributing masks from pharmacies since it's the fastest and safest method.
The chamber also said that five masks will be given free of charge once in every five days.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca previously said that five masks would be distributed from Turkish Post (PTT) branches once every week.
Turkey imposed a curfew on those below the age of 20 and above the age of 65 as part of the measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
