Crowds who gathered in the Seyhan and Yüreğir districts of the city violated the nationwide curfew implemented to prevent large gatherings during Eid to halt the spread of COVID-19.

It's tradition to gather with extended family during the holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, which would pose a threat to further spread COVID-19.
