“I was waiting on Mecidiyeköy Square with four others. A bus with 14 seats arrived. There were 22 health workers in there including the driver,” Yıldız said.

While many of the health workers had to ride the bus standing, there should have only been seven people on the bus according to COVID-19 restrictions, Yıldız added.

“If we get sick, everybody gets sick. The government fails to understand this. We need to live in order to let others live. I just can’t take that car to the hospital.”
