Thousands of people stuck on eastern Turkish highway for hours after heavy snowstorm

Thousands of people have been stuck on a highway in the southeastern province of Gaziantep since Jan. 18 evening after a heavy snowstorm hit the city. Some 2,800 people are still waiting to be rescued in their cars as of 10 a.m. on Jan. 19, Governor Davut Gül said.
