As the director of P.E.N Turkey, Zeynep Oral lobbies for the rights of writers and in the defence of freedom of expression. 

Oral tells Frostick about the legal mechanisms by which the state cracks down on writers, the arbitrary way that charges are brought and the difficultly of finding solutions for those unjustly persecuted.
