Turkey will deport two Syrians who were recorded insulting Turkish women, Demirören news agency reported on Jan. 4.

The two Syrians held a videoconference with a Turkish national, during which they swore at Turkish women. The video was later shared on social media and received widespread condemnation.

One of the Syrians is heard saying that he “would rape” Turkish women in the video.

The police were later involved in the incident and detained the Syrian national M.E.A in İzmir and K.S.A. in Aydın's Didim district, Turkish media outlets reported.

They were later dispatched to the Aydın Provincial Immigration Office.

Turkish authorities imposed an entry ban on the two Syrians on charges of “disturbing public order and causing public unrest,” and will deport them on Jan. 5.
