The news channel reported that Singapore's Health Ministry had confirmed late on March 4 that one of the passengers on the Turkish Airlines flight TK54 tested positive for the virus.

The coronavirus outbreak has had a significant impact on the aviation industry worldwide.

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca previously said that although there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Turkey so far, there might be people who have been already infected by the virus of whom the authorities are not aware of.
