Turkish food company Eti on Dec. 1 announced that they're changing the name of their most beloved biscuits over racism concerns.

"Negro," which was released in 1990, will now be called "Nero," the company said in a statement.

"Negro is a biscuit that gets its name from its color. However, this name indicates discrimination in other cultures," Eti said.

"For this reason, we are changing its name. We know that one letter changes a lot. Eti Negro is now Eti Nero. We don't want to break anyone's heart," the company added.

Eti also said that the biscuit's ingredients won't change and that the name "Nero" will emphasize its cocoa flavor.
