Turkish man of 22 with asthma and epilepsy dies of COVID-19

A 22-year-old Turkish man suffering from asthma and epilepsy has died from COVID-19, Anadolu Efes Sports Club said, noting their sadness in a social media post about the passing of their fan.

A Turkish man, aged 22, has died from the coronavirus, the Anadolu Efes Sports Club said, adding that their young fan suffered from asthma and epilepsy. 

“We learned of our fan Seyfullah Yılmaz’s passing with great sadness,” Anadolu Efes said in a social media post about the 22 year old. 

While elderly individuals are considered to be the highest risk group for COVID-19, younger individuals have also died from it. 

A total of 574 people have died from the virus in Turkey as of April 5, and some 27,069 are infected.
