Duvar English - A Turkish couple has adopted a baby squirrel and named it "Alvin" after finding it on a tree in the northwestern province of Kocaeli.
Enes and Minel Kılıç found the helpless squirrel in a tree hollow around a month ago in the Yuvacık district.
"We found it in a tree hollow. When we found it helpless, we decided to take him to the vet. He said it was a week or two old. Later we decided to feed him," Enes Kılıç said, noting that the squirrel refuses to leave the couple.
"We have tried to release him to the wild, but he came back every time," he added.
Alvin has become a member of the family since then.
