Turkey bans outdoor grilling, picnics amid coronavirus outbreak
Turkey’s Agriculture and Forestry Ministry has banned outdoor grilling and picnics until further notice on March 21. The restriction comes amid a series of preventive measures to slow down the spread of the coronavirus that has already killed nine people in Turkey.

Turkey’s Agriculture and Forestry Ministry banned outdoor grilling and picnics amid a coronavirus outbreak that has already claimed 9 lives and infected hundreds across the country.
Grilling and picnics are forbidden in gardens, parks and recreational areas until further notice, the ministry said on March 21.
Hairdressers closed
As many Turkish citizens have continued to occupy parks and go out in the streets, the latest measures aim to prevent gatherings.
Ankara has also halted flights to 46 additional countries and closed hairdressers on March 21.
