High school in southern Turkey manufactures first domestic ventilator
A high school in the southern province of Hatay manufactured Turkey's first domestic ventilator April 16. Turkey's Education Ministry assigned all professional and technical high schools in the country to produce disinfectants, surgical masks and other personal protective equipment to help supply materials to combat the coronavirus outbreak.

Turkey's first domestic ventilator was manufactured in the southernmost province of Hatay April 16, in the context of research and decelipment work commissioned by the Education Ministry for the fight against COVID-19.
Hatay Şehit Serkan Talan Professional and Technical High School's research and development workshop designed the ventilator to comply with the Health Ministry's Medical Equipment Regulations.
After the ventilator's patent is registered, mass production will begin on the device.
