Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) head Hidayet Türkoğlu said that no clubs were declared champions.
"Today we ended all our leagues. No clubs will be declared champions in our leagues. No relegation or promotions will be applied," Türkoğlu told reporters, adding that the decision was adopted to save a few years of Turkish basketball rather than a period of 1.5 months as they held talks with all of the clubs.
Türkoğlu noted that they were unable to make return plans because of the pandemic.
Likewise, Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) head Mehmet Akif Üstündağ said that no team will be declared champions since the teams did not compete in the play-offs.
