Turkish police detain French woman for 'trying to join ISIS'
A French woman was detained for allegedly trying to join ISIS in the southern province of Adana. She denied trying to join the jihadists in Syria and said that she was in the province as a tourist. The 21-year-old was later repatriated to her country.

Turkish police detained a French woman, who was allegedly trying to join ISIS, in the southern province of Adana on Nov. 26.
The 21-year-old woman, identified only as Anissa L., flew to Istanbul from France, before heading to Adana as part of her plans to head to the border province of Hatay to cross into Syria illegally, according to police.
In her testimony following her detention at a hotel in Adana, the woman said that she was in the province for touristic purposes.
The French woman was later repatriated to her country.
