Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has presented the French version of his book "A Fairer World Is Possible" in English.
Erdoğan was speaking to reporters on Sept. 19 before heading to the United States when he said that the book was translated into three languages - English, French and Arabic.
"God willing, we will present our book 'A Fairer World Is Possible' in the U.S. to relevant parties," Erdoğan said, before voicing content with the publication numbers.
He then went on to show translations of his book, but surprisingly showed the French version of his book as if it's in English.
The incident prompted surprise on social media since Erdoğan pauses for a moment to look at the cover of the book, which is clearly in French.
Earlier, Erdoğan said that he will distribute copies of his book to world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly.
According to state-run Anadolu Agency, the book "draws attention to problems with the UN, such as shortcomings in terms of legitimacy, inclusiveness, efficiency, representation, and governance."
