President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to meet with U.S. investors during his visit to New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
Erdoğan is scheduled to have a number of bilateral talks and attend conferences in New York, including one that's organized by Turkish American National Steering Committee (TASC) titled "A Fairer World Is Possible," which is also the name of Erdoğan's recently published book.
The Turkish President is expected to address Turks living in the U.S. at the conference in Manhattan Center, Voice of America's Turkish service reported on Sept. 19.
On Sept. 20, Erdoğan is expected to attend an event organized by the Foreign Policy Association and SETA DC following a series of meetings. He will address U.S. investors during an investment conference organized by the Turkey-U.S. Business Council (TÜİK) later in the day.
Before heading to the U.S., Erdoğan told reporters on Sept. 19 that he will meet the representatives of some U.S. media outlets.
"In addition, I will meet with Turkish-American businesspeople. We will have a busy schedule," Erdoğan said.
Whether he will meet with U.S. President Joe Biden is currently unknown.
