Fethullah Gülen, an Islamic cleric who died on Oct. 20 in the United States, will be buried in his Pennsylvania compound, pro-Gülenist journalist Adem Yavuz Arslan reported.

“There is no possibility that Gülen's body will be taken to Turkey,” he added.

Gülen had been living in Pennsylvania, United States in a self-imposed exile since 1999.

The Turkish government says Gülen and his movement organized the coup attempt of July 2016 and has designated his network as a terrorist group, dubbing it “Fethullahist Terror Organization,” or “FETÖ.”
