Male models were seen sitting on the floor in swimsuits with no social distancing whatsoever despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual contest is being organized by Ertan Özerman and those who wanted to enter the contest were invited to a hotel in Istanbul for selections. A total of 196 men entered the contest.

The pictures, however, created utter shock among Twitter users, with many asking, "Is this a slave market?"
