While the dam occupancy rate was measured as 74 percent two weeks ago, it was measured as 70 percent on Jan. 31.
The graph shows the month-end occupancy rates in the last one year.
Although the current dam occupancy rate was higher than the 43.8 percent rate of a year ago, it was mostly low compared to previous years.
The graph demonstrates the occupancy rates on July 1 over the years.
As of July 1, there was a total of 601.96 million cubic meters of water in the dams, compared to almost half of that at the same time last year. However, this was still several million cubic meters lower than in previous years.
In 2024, the dams received a total of 330 kilogram per cubic meter water.
Ömerli Dam held approximately 31 percent of the total water, while Terkoz held 21 percent and Büyükçekmece 16 percent.
