Şahin Çetinalp, the Karşıyaka representative of the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), an Islamist foundation that has President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son Bilal Erdoğan on its advisory board, shared photos of his multiple luxury vehicles, as well as a bottle of top-notch champagne Moet. 

Ironically, Çetinalp said that their lives and belongings aren't more valuable than "the cause" of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

"If our lives or belongings were more valuable than our cause, we wouldn't be using this license plate," the representative captioned a photo of his car with the license plate AKP.

Most recently, TÜGVA was in the news for its extensive efforts to infiltrate into the state. Critics likened TÜGVA's infiltration to how the followers of U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen assumed positions. 

"You can call him the most humble man in the world. I'm pulling him again and he won't turn to say 'Hold still for a second,'" Çetinalp said in the caption of his photo with Bilal Erdoğan.
