The governor stated that if a sufficient number of artifacts suitable for exhibition are uncovered during the excavations, they will develop different strategies for displaying them in the region. He added that if this does not happen, they will prepare to exhibit the artifacts in Elazığ’s city center.
Mehmet Emin Sualp, who bought the land four years ago for 120,000 liras (3,500 dollars) said, "We purchased this land in 2020 for vineyard and garden purposes. When I began planting saplings, I discovered the floor mosaic. Aware of its significance, I contacted the museum. Since that day, I’ve been on-site, working and doing my best."
