Some 39 people were detained in the operation conducted against the infamous "Şirinler Gang" led by Ali A.

A total of 43 addresses were raided as part of the operations based in the southern province of Adana.

While plenty of weapons, checks, assault weapons and money were seized in the raids, police found out that two people had been held captive by the gang for a month.

Police have also determined that the addresses were surrounded by security cameras that the gang set up in order to escape in case of a police raid.
