Within the scope of Erdoğan's visit to New York, the Turkish House located near the UN Headquarters, hosted intensive diplomatic meetings, according to reporting of online news outlet T24.

On the first day of his visit, Erdoğan received Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the Turkish House. During the meeting, Erdoğan emphasized the importance of the realization of the Middle Corridor initiative and stated that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is expected to be operational rapidly.

Trans-Caspian East-West-Middle Corridor Initiative is one of Turkey's trade projects to "revive the ancient Silk Road.”

The agenda of President Erdoğan's meeting with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the Turkish House was the political and economic relations of the two countries, as well as the tensions in Africa and the solution proposals of the two countries.
