Turkey sends team to investigate cause of Azeri plane crash
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that a delegation would be sent to Baku to investigate the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane in Kazakhstan.

Turkey would send an expert team to Baku in order to investigate the recent plane crash upon request by the Azerbaijani authorities.
An Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane en route from Baku to Grozny, Russia, crashed in Kazakhstan's Aktau city on Dec. 25, killing 38 people.
Azerbaijani government sources stated that the plane was shot down by Russia.
Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu on Dec. 27 announced on his social media account, "Upon the request of the Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Agency, we have assigned an eight-person investigation team to research the causes of the crash, conduct technical and operational analyses, and provide necessary support."

Uraloğlu mentioned that the delegation will head to Baku on the same day, adding, "Starting from tomorrow, the team will work in coordination with Azerbaijani authorities to examine all aspects of the incident based on their expertise."
