Turkey's High Election Board (YSK) has traveled to Washington, D.C., to observe the U.S. elections, which will finalized on Nov. 5.

The delegation composed of Ahmet Yener, the chair of the board, and YSK member Ali Ürker will be observing the presidential election.

As part of their visit, the YSK delegation met with the Federal Election Commission and will visit other institutions involved in the electoral process.

They will observe the entire election process, including voting day, on-site.

In recent elections, YSK faced significant criticism from opposition parties due to controversial decisions, such as its 2017 ruling to validate unstamped ballots in the constitutional referendum.
