Turkey's self-proclaimed Messiah Hazan Mezarcı has shared a video of himself and his followers celebrating his birthday in the northwestern province of Düzce.
Mezarcı, whose actual date of birth is May 11, 1954, celebrated his birthday on Christmas, becoming a subject of ridicule on social media.
The video shows Mezarcı's followers singing a birthday song and one person is heard shouting "Hallelujah."

Mezarcı is a former deputy from the Islamist Welfare Party. Known for his radical Islamist beliefs, he was jailed in the 1990s for "insulting" Turkey's founding father Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Following his sentence, Mezarcı declared himself Messiah.
