The group gathered in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district on Dec. 12 and used two camels and a donkey during their protest, Demirören News Agency reported.
Protesters have said that their freedom to travel is being limited because of the requirement to show PCR tests.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Erkan Trükten said that they are being prevented from intercity travel and called on everyone to travel on camels.
"We're saying that everyone should have a camel. Let's travel around like the people do in Saudi Arabia. Let's get our freedom to travel back," Trükten said, before waving a Turkish flag while riding a camel.
