The climbers got stranded after one of them got injured. To save themselves from the freezing weather, they initially tried to build a shelter from the snow.
Upon contacting rescue teams, the three climbers, Ahmet Çakırer, Ali Can and Ömür Büyüköztürk, took shelter in a cabin nearby.
They then burned their clothes to warm themselves up, as they waited for the rescue teams to reach them.
The rescue teams consisting of 71 people carried out an operation to save the men that lasted for 14 hours.
