A Turkish court has blocked access to 67 reportings and posts regarding President Erdoğan’s son Bilal Erdoğan, citing "personal rights" as the reason.

An Istanbul court has blocked access to 67 reportings and posts regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s son Bilal Erdoğan,

Anadolu 3rd Criminal Judgeship of Peace has ordered the blocking and deletion of the reportings and posts, citing "personal rights" as the reason, EngelliWeb project of the Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD) reported on March 13.

Some of the blocked reportings are about access ban rulings issued for reportings on other access bans.

Issuing access bans to websites, posts, and reportings is a common practice of the Turkish government. Turkey issued access bans to 137,717 websites in 2022, a report by the İFÖD revealed.
