Turkish Technology and Industry Minister Mustafa Varank entered the new year as a motor courier. Varank delivered orders as the popular delivery service Getir courier.
Varank said in a tweet that “We entered the new year together with our motor courier friends who continue to work even in the most difficult conditions. We will continue to work so that 2023 will be the year of our labor brothers.”
Varank said Getir will not accept payments for the orders he delivered.
Varank distributed an order to a dormitory and introduced himself to students as the minister. Not recognizing Varank, a university student replied “Really?”.
