A mosque official in the Aegean province of Manisa was heard wishing headache on those not fasting during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, prompting provincial mufti to probe the incident.
"May those who don't fast suffer from a headache," was heard from the mosque's loudspeakers in a video shared by former main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy Tur Yıldız Biçer on Twitter.
"I conveyed the complaints I received from our citizens to Manisa's mufti," Biçer said.
Manisa Mesir Cami’mizde iki gündür cami hoparlöründen okunan duada ‘’Oruç tutmayanın başı ağrısın” cümlesi duyuluyor.

Yurttaşlarımızın ilettiği şikayeti Manisa Müftümüzle paylaştım, kendisi konuya dair inceleme ve soruşturma başlatacağını iletti.

Social media users slammed the "prayer," with dozens pointing to the increasing Islamism under the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).
