Turkish opposition alliance releases new video to seize victory in first round of presidential race
The opposition bloc Nation Alliance on May 1 released a new video calling on citizens to vote and make sure that their presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu wins the presidential elections in the first round.

Presidential candidate of the opposition bloc Nation Alliance and Republican People’s Party leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on May 1 shared a new election campaign video on his social media account with the title "Let's Finish it in the First Round."
The video features the leaders of all parties of the Nation Alliance as well as Istanbul and Ankara mayors and calls on citizens to vote in the elections.
Along with Kılıçdaroğlu, leader of the Good (İYİ) Party Meral Akşener, leader of the Felicity Party Temel Karamollaoğlu, leader of the DEVA Party Ali Babacan, leader of the Future Pary Ahmet Davutoğlu, leader of the Democratic Party (DP) Gültekin Uysal, mayor of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, and Ankar Mayor Mansur Yavaş appeared together in the campaign video prepared for the May 14 elections.
In the video, Akşener said, "Let's make history," Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Let's go to the ballot box together," Karamollaoğlu said, "Let's hope," Babacan said, "Let's go together," Davutoğlu said, "Let's innovate," and Uysal said, "Let's be happy."
The promotional video ended with Kılıçdaroğlu saying, "Let's all go to the ballot box together. I promise you! Turkey will win!"
Four politicians are officially running in Turkey's 2023 presidential elections: ruling People’s Alliance candidate President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kılıçdaroğlu, Homeland Party leader Muharrem İnce and far-right ATA Alliance’s candidate Sinan Oğan.
If none of the candidates can receive more than 50% of the votes on May 14, two candidates who received most of the votes will run for a second round on May 28.
