As the snow melted with the arrival of spring, wildlife also came to life in the Ovacık district of Turkey’s eastern province Dersim.
As the weather is getting warmer, some insect, reptile, and butterfly species have emerged in forested and mountainous areas, and brown bears have woken up from hibernation.
The foothills of the Munzur Mountains in the north of the district are also inhabited by wild goats, which are forbidden to be hunted.
State-run Anadolu Agency camera crew captured wild goat herds, feeding in the green pastures and drinking water from the streams, on camera in the Munzur Mountains.
