A strange case of robbery has taken place in Istanbul, where a woman stole a room from her neighbor's apartment, broadcaster Show TV reported on Dec. 20.
Bünyamin Seyhan, the owner of the three-bedroom house, said that tenants were living in his apartment until recently. He said that he decided to live in his own house after the tenants left, but was shocked to see that a whole room was missing from his apartment.
Upon finding out that his house became a two-bedroom apartment, Seyhan determined that his neighbor stole a room.
The neighbor didn't deny that she took the room and added it to her house by building a wall.

"That was already our room," the woman told Seyhan.
"The municipality approved the process. They said, 'You can do whatever you want' and we did," she added.
The shocked and angry man responded by asking, "My room was stolen. Where is my room?"
"Why didn't you let me know when demolishing the walls of my apartment?" Seyhan asked.
The case is now at the hands of the court.
