After government's intense lockdown in Istanbul, the police attacked workers who gathered in Fatih, Beşiktaş, and Şişli districts in order to march to megacity's historic Taksim Square. Police detained at least 210 protesters around the province.

Workers' in the Aegean İzmir organized a rally in the Gündoğdu Square. Before the rally, workers marched to the square with Turkish and Kurdish slogans on the roads leading to the province's central meeting area.
Unions expressed their demands to have the right to freely unionize with a secure job.
